More Show News! Mickey and The Magician to replace Animagique on July 2nd!

Almost a week after Disneyland Paris announced the world exclusive Show for Disneyland Park - A 

Forest of Enchantment, We receive more news, this time on the new show to replace Animagique! In the Walt Disney Studios Park. 

For some time fans have speculated what would replace the popular blacklight show, Many thought we would get a new take on Mickey and the magical map, But for the second time this year we are receiving an exclusive show specifically created for Disneyland Paris.

The new show will Feature Mickey Mouse as the lead character, He is given the task of Cleaning a Magician's Workshop when his dream of becoming a Magician Himself comes to life! It's a brand new Story filled with magic for all the Family!

Some of the characters featuring in the show include: The stars from Beauty and the beast, Genie, Rafiki, Cinderella and The Fairy Godmother!

The show will Launch on July 2nd 2016 at Walt Disney Studios Park, Disneyland Paris.

A world exclusive! Disneyland Paris presents a brand new show, A forest of Enchantment.

On february 10th 2016, the Chaparral Theatre will be the host to Disneyland Paris' newest show, A forest of enchantment, A Disney musical adventure!

"As of February 10, 2016, Disneyland Paris will unveil a new show on the stage of the Chaparral Theater, where Disney heroes and heroines celebrate nature in a new way. This show in the purest tradition of musical theater will be an opportunity for visitors to meet Disney characters at the heart of an enchanted forest, full of surprises. The spirits of the forest invite to an extraordinary journey on uplifting and energizing rhythms, announcing the imminent arrival of spring" - Disneyland Paris official

News of the show has been emerging on twitter, the more details that are revealed the more excited I become, this really is going to be something special and I'm so glad Disneyland park is Getting the show it deserves. 

Christophe Leclercq, The director of performing arts at Disneyland Paris wanted to create the Special atmosphere of being fully immersed in the heart of a magical forest, He said, Choosing the Chaparral theater in Frontierland is not insignificant. "we wanted to offer a story with a strong connection with nature and the forest. So Chaparral Theater has quickly established itself as the perfect place."

The set is said to have centerpiece that weighs in at an Impressive 1.5 tons! It's a foldable piece that reveals moving stairs in constant evolution brought on by the spirits of the forest, like turning the pages of a "Pop-up book."This sounds like it could be similar to the backdrop to "mickey and the magical map" In california, however this seems slightly more complex with the addition of a moving staircase, I'm certainly looking forward to seeing how the Pop up book centerpiece will be brought to life!

The forest of enchantment is exclusive to Disneyland Paris, It is set in a forest, where Joyful spirits of nature come to present some of the most memorable Disney stories, Its set to feature characters Pocahontas and John Smith *SQUEALS* King louie and Baloo the bear, Tarzan, Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, and Merida, where they will perform live songs from their Films, Aside from the popular disney characters, the cast will be centered around animals and plants. The host or storyteller, will lead the show and will be accompanied by four singers Water, Earth (leonardo), Fire (Regina) and Air (lucille) and will also feature Acrobats, Aerial choreography, and dancers, all who have performed on broadway, in paris or in cirque du soleil!

Music plays a predominant part of the new show. It will have its own exclusive song, "forest of enchantment" which has been developed by Vasile Sirli, in collaboration with Gordon and Lisa Goodwin who are known for their "Jazz swing" style. They have also Re-Orchestrated all the classic songs that will feature in the show.

"The most famous songs of the films are part of the show. But we also wanted to show that it vibrates to the rhythm of a composition of an original song, written in the spirit of Broadway musicals"

The new show opens on february 10th until May 8th and will be offered 5 times a day, 7 days a week. performed mostly in English At the Chaparral Theatre in the heart of frontierland at Disneyland park.
